Copa America – Heinze against USA
Posted by Red Devil on June 29, 2007
The rumours are around that Heinze might be leaving the Theatre of Dreams this summer. This site feels that it is the press that wants Heinze to leave more than Heinze himself.
Just because there is competition would Heinze, the warrior leave a team in England whose fans would chant Ar-gen-tina, a team that has won the league more convincingly than the winners in Spain, a team that plays beautiful football like Argentina, a team that has supported him during his injury, a team that has given him the captain’s armband?
I hope he doesn’t leave and provides crosses similar to the one provided to Aimar against USA.

Copa America – Anderson against Mexico
Posted by Red Devil on June 29, 2007
I woke up early in the morning eager to watch Anderson in action against Mexico. But Dunga made me wait till half time to help Manchester United successfully get their work permit appeal for Anderson.
Much has been said about this young talent, drawing comparisions with the mercurial Ronaldhino. The talent is definitely there but it is raw and has to be honed. Now that he has got the workpermit SAF can take care about moulding him into a worldclass player. He loves to run at defenders and dribble past them. But he has to develop a sense of awareness of the players around him and learn the art of passing. Training alongside pass masters Scholesy and Carrick would definitely help him. In this game his passing was at times awful, but we forgive him for that amazing cross to Afonso Alves, which could have been converted to a goal.

Euro U21- Nani against Italy
Posted by Red Devil on June 22, 2007
Well, lately I have even started uploading videos into youtube
. Check these vidoes of Nani in the Euro U21 match against Italy. I think the lad has a lot of talent and eye for the goal, but he needs to improve his finishing. He also tends to do all by himself the way Cristiano Ronaldo used to do in his first years at United. I hope Ronaldo, Carlos and SAF advice the guy to be a bit more mature and cross/pass whenever needed. Also I wish he hits penalties a little more hard

Euro U21- Giuseppe Rossi against Portugal
Posted by Red Devil on June 22, 2007
Well, lately I have even started uploading videos into youtube
. Check this amazing run of Giuseppe Rossi aka “Joe Red” (courtesy unitedrant) against Portugal. Its really pleasing to see him do these runs consistently (he did a few for Parma as well). I hope the lad is given a run with Manchester United next season.
